Fuzzy’s Smoked Meatloaf

ONE OF THE JUICIEST, FLAVORFUL MEATLOAFS…EVER. The following recipe is a demonstration on how to prepare my smoked meatloaf on a Big Green Egg. Your comments, questions, and concerns are welcome…and I’d appreciate it if you would share your experience or tweaks to this recipe. Method of Preparation: Spray a bread pan with Pam. Mix ingredients well and place in sprayed bread pan. Preheat Egg to 350 degrees. Method Of Cooking: Big Green Egg (other smoker or grill) in a bread pan. Medium amount of Natural Lump Charcoal 350 degrees. Add wood chips and cook for 1 to 1 1/2 hours… or until internal temperature is 155-165. Pull off the grill and let rest for at least 30 minutes. Slice and enjoy! Total Cook/Prep Time: 2 hours and 10 minutes (10 minutes prep, 1:30 for cooking, 30 minutes resting). Feeds: 4-6 regular people (per pound)…or 2 lumberjacks..

Ingredients (varies on a per-pound basis):
1 Pound of Ground Round Beef
1 Egg
2/3 Cup of Italian Bread Crumbs
1/3 Cup of Ketchup
Pam (for bread pan)
*Double or Triple the Recipe for a Larger Loaf.  Add the appropriate ingredients to maintain ingredient proportions.

Pairs With: Top with Ketchup or BBQ Sauce if you want.  However, this will be a juicier-than-your-typical meatloaf.

Broccoli
Baked Means
Mashed Potatoes
